From what I gather (and any LEO on FR may can verify) is they are trained to keep shooting until the threat is ‘neutralized’.

I know if I saw that hulk charging at me.....I’d be emptying a clip or two.

That's the way I was trained in the Navy.

BTW - You would empty a magazine or two and not a clip. Clips are for revolvers and M-1s.
