I am just pointing out that your average 18 year old does not speak nor write with the ‘eloquence’ that is shown here.
Kids that age just don’t ‘talk’ like that. Hey VERY few adults talk like that.
Is this kid an aspiring ‘rap’ musician writer who was just trying to turn his life around (sarc) and some ‘Bully Cop’ had the nerve to ask him (well we probably realize the cop didn’t say - Excuse me sir, would you please get on the sidewalk) and very possibly the cop wasn’t aware that the kid may have just committed a robbery..BUT as has been stated MANY times, the KID knew he had just committed a robbery at the least, with ‘roughing’ up the clerk a very likely possibility.
I believe the police version of that because it could have been easily pushed in that direction if they had IMMEDIATELY released tape showing the ‘strong arm’ in the store, whether it was the kid or not .. At least the kid ‘fit the description’ etc...
Maybe the kid was ‘tired’ of being ‘picked on’ for his size and EVERYONE that came in contact with him ‘feared’ him - for his size - if nothing else.
Lets face it, KIDS (in general) do things to ‘annoy’ adults - that is the nature of the ‘game’ and has been going on since boys dipped girls pony tails in the ink well.
If he was ‘high’ on something, it would promote the super man feeling the kid may have had BUT at this stage of the game anything that is used to show he is/was NOT a ‘good kid, a gentle giant’ will just add to the fire.
In normal times, Holder saying DOJ would conduct their own autopsy wouldn’t be a ‘bad’ idea, but if the locals come out and the DOJ is just the opposite - TSWRHTF - which, is my what cynical self is gearing up for.
I am getting to the point where I really find it hard to believe EITHER side anymore and this is just further proof.
Even if we ‘ignore’ the constant shootings in Chicago, that shooting of the 3yo girl in Metro DC should have been the ‘poster child’ event to bring this trash to a head.
BUT, we can’t do that because the shooter wasn’t even a ‘White Hispanic’, he was a Black kid known to the neighborhood - the fact that the police haven’t caught him yet leads my cynical side to think maybe ‘justice has already been served’, in the sense of the kid would be or have been better off if the cops got to him first.
No - they should be required in all circumstances. There’s no excuse not to have them in this day and age.

Reportedly, none of the wounds, including the head wound, showed powder burns. This means the story of an execution style killing is a lie.
Can’t get powder stippling out of a dead body. Even washing it off just leaves burn marks. I think it is safe to say there wasn’t any and this minimum distance is reasonably accurate.
Well if you subscribe to the 30 ft rule which I certainly do, shooting the guy 30 ft away would be kosher.
Early reports say the cop first shot Brown at the car during a scuffle with a casing found in the car then the kid took off and I guess turned around and came back at the cop.
I still have not heard a cogent version of what happened from the cop which would be nice.

Those unacquainted with the reality of using a handgun to stop an attack usually get their notions of what handguns do from TV and movies.
Roy Rogers or the Lone Ranger would typically draw from a holster and use their outstanding point-shooting skills to shoot the gun out of the bad guy's hand without even harming the hand. The TV movie alternative is that a person is shot using a handgun and immediately falls unconscious or dead. Neither of these scenarios reflects the reality of most shootings.
Shooting at a gun-sized target at twenty feet would be challenge enough with carefully aimed shots while lining up the sights on the handgun.
In a real self-defense shooting there typically isn't time or even physical coordination enough to make such a shot. The risk of failing to stop the attacker is that a person is killed by the attacker. This makes it necessary to adopt a different plan.
Every single shot is initially aimed at the center-of-mass of the target. This maximizes the chances of the shot incapacitating the attacker most quickly. It is simply a coincidence of anatomy that shots intended to quickly stop a person are also most likely to kill the person. That is because STOPPING the attacker typically requires one of three outcomes.
1. The attacker loses enough blood to drop blood pressure sufficiently to lose consciousness. The attack stops.
2. The attacker's central nervous system (the brain or spine) is sufficiently affected by the wounds to render him incapable of continuing the attack.
3. The attacker's skeleton or musculature is sufficiently damaged to prevent the attack from continuing.
Shooting at the center of mass of the attacker has the highest probability of stopping the attack because a hit in this area will often hit the heart or a large artery and quickly lower the blood pressure, or the bullet will damage the spine and prevent further coordinated motion by the attacker.
In self-defense classes, one is taught to shoot twice at center-of-mass and then, if the attacker is not stopped, shoot at the head. This is because the failure of the first two rounds may indicate that the attacker is protected by body armor.
If the policeman was confident that no body armor was involved, then all shots would be to center-of mass. It might still be possible that a shot intended for center-of-mass might hit the head of an attacker who crouches down during the attack.
As for those who would recommend that the cop shoot-to-wound rather than kill the attacker, it should be pointed out that four of the rounds did wound the attacker and yet failed to stop the attack.
Years ago on the Discovery Channel they did a reshoot using artificial cadavers of what happened in Dallas. They even used some ammo from the same lot number Oswald used.
When the shot was fired the bullet did exactly as the autopsy said it did. Through Kennedy, keyholed into Connally, bounce d around and ended up in his leg.
Connally was not sitting at the same level as JFK, he was in a “jump seat” at a lower level, and the bullet hit higher than the autopsy report showed. We still have JFK’s shirt with the higher bullet hole.
