Autopsy Shows Michael Brown Was Struck at Least 6 Times (All shots in front-witness lied)

FERGUSON, Mo. — Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager who was killed by a police officer, sparking protests around the nation, was shot at least six times, including twice in the head, a preliminary private autopsy performed on Sunday found.

One of the bullets entered the top of Mr. Brown’s skull, suggesting his head was bent forward when it struck him and caused a fatal injury, according to Dr. Michael M. Baden, the former chief medical examiner for the City of New York, who flew to Missouri on Sunday at the family’s request to conduct the separate autopsy. It was likely the last of bullets to hit him, he said.

Mr. Brown, 18, was also shot four times in the right arm, he said, adding that all the bullets were fired into his front.

-----snip---

Mr. Johnson said that he hid behind a parked car and that Mr. Brown was struck by a bullet in his back as he ran away, an account that Dr. Baden’s autopsy appears to contradict.

I am beginning to wonder if the talk of a 7mm isn't incorrect. The pistols that shoot the 7mm Penna shell are (as best I can tell) made by STI and are quite expensive for a little town like Ferguson.

The rapid movement of the target would account for why most of the shots went into the arm instead of the torso. Nothing about the head shots indicated on the diagram says to me that the spots hit were specifically aimed at, so accidental would be more-or-less accurate. I think it was a rapid succession of discharges toward an advancing, and eventually falling, target. No big coincidence required.

It doesn’t mean he was lying. What it means is that in the heat of the moment it was what he thinks he saw.

Keep in mind all of this played out in about three minutes before another officer got there.

Eyewitness testimony can be very unreliable and flawed at times.

The one person who did see the whole incident was the guy who tweeted the pictures. The whole thing played out right in front of his house and that is the guy the police need to talk to.

Not if it was the final shot, because I’m sure getting shot, even if just in the arm a few times would cause most people to bend over a little in pain or bend forward in protective manner exposing the top portion of their head. OR, he was indeed charging with his head bent down a little as the officer’s friend described.
None of those shots look as if he was on his knees surrendering. How would you shoot someone on top of their head unless their head was tilted forward to you in some manner?

There are a number of Forensic Pathologists available for this. But you have to pay them and they are not cheap.
That guy probably charged at least $10,000 for his expertise.

You would think that with the many times these things happen some one would think about why it is happening.

Needless to say that if some one is being attached by a 292 pound gorilla they had better start shooting or running.

Policeman or not I would not get into a cage with a gorilla which is just what this cop did.

It is fine to tell kids to get off the street because you are concerned about their safety but don`t tell me the cop was concerned about these two guys safety cause it would just be B.S.

Cops make people hate them because of their stupid great authority attitude.

For that reason if it were up for vote at this time I would probably vote the cop not guilty of murder but guilty for being the cause of the confrontation in the first place.

I am sure his superiors would not agree because IT IS THE LAW.

It was nothing but the authority that is worshipped by police officers, (authority first)

Does this mean all the vandals and looters will have to repair the damages they’ve inflicted on personal property and return all the goods they stole?

Johnson was involved in the strong armed robbery of the convenience store. Who was ever going to believe him anyway?

I think Brown's family did, and that's why they wanted an independent autopsy. And now it's blowing up in their faces.

I managed to find this: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090829133335AATK12b

It is basically a .32

There are several types available - a quick search should yield multiple results other than just a Penna as was suggested to be the only possibility upthread.

Thanks for that reference.

It appears that the shot to the thumb was a grazing one, and could account for one "entry" to the forearm (or the upper arm). The grazing shot at the elbow was likely a "lost" round (not collected, and not counted as a hit). I'm not sure what the examiner intended by the three wounds to the right side of his face and neck, but the chin-shot indicates another grazing wound, ending near his right medial clavicle. That there are no exit wounds suggest an inferior police cartridge.

Nice shootin’.

Huh? That's not 'nice shooting' it's more like spray and pray. Regardless of the shoot being righteous the cop needs to go back to the range and work on his skills.
