I wonder if the DOJ will hand the coroner a completed autopsy report and tell him to sign it.
Will the DOJ provide their own freshly shot up body ?
What authority does the DOJ have to investigate a shooting which occurred wholly within a single city? Do we now have a federal police force in this Obama Nation?

The toxicology results are especially important. People don’t normally charge police officers when they’re unarmed — unless of course the are under the influence of drugs.
Like Trayvon, this thug-wanna-be had indications of drug use. He picked Swisher Sweets to steal because he was going to use them to roll blunts, or marijuana smokes wrapped in cheap cigar wrappers.
If it’s an ME on the Federal payroll, it’s not going to be independent. It appears they didn’t like the results of the real autopsy. Guess it didn’t help their case enough.
They are going do it until they get one they like. i.e. the white guy did it.

My personal theory, is based only on supposition and previous investigatory experience. It is not based on any personal knowledge of this case or autopsy. (aka/disclaimer).
Toxicology is fun but, the probable primary reason to need a second autopsy in this case is that the first ME concluded that the wound track analysis is entirely consistent with the officer having shot to stop a charging (substitute the name of large dangerous creature.) I personally don’t want to besmirch any.
We know the Just Us department simply can’t let that stand.
Why have a second? We all know he died from lead poisoning!!
I think this THUG may well have had some type of undiagnosed mental illness such as bi-polar disease. It would NOT (as far as I know) show up in an autopsy but could help explain his behavior. He was displaying some sort of manic, king-of-the-world, “I’m indestructible” behavior starting (at least by then) with his strong arm robbery and continuing with his walk down the middle of the road and encounter with the policeman.
He was simply a THUG coming into full bloom as a monster.

how many bullet wounds?
what direction were the bullets coming from?
how far away was each bullet shot from?
witness testimony is notoriously bad, we need good solid evidence of where Brown was relative to officer Wilson.
