I hope so. Let’s hope there is no time-delay munitions.

But who will provide the constant maintenance that these damn dams require?

"But who will provide the constant maintenance that these damn dams require?" Iraq had told the US that they were afraid it wasn't being or properly being maintained by ISIS thus the operation to retake it. So I imagine Iraq has the crews ready to go back to work on it.

ISIS/L is currenly waiting until after the US November elections ...
after a "psssst ...not yet" from the "bastard" Obama ...
to take Baghdad.
ISIS/L needs the extra time to properly infiltrate the city's security and critical infrastrucre (electricity, water, etc).

Very good news. The Kurds a able to mount an effective opposition to ISIS.

The U.S. should initiate high-altitude (drone targeting assisted) strategic "carpet bombing" of ISIS/L.
"Safe conduct" civilian/military transporation corridors should be established (zones of control) until "every" piece of ISIS/L slime is "exterminated".
.
To: GonzoII
Well this might delay the ISIS leaders plans to visit New York.
