I think we should get a list of the regular Putinista fan club. I know there is Mac Truck, McGraw, TCrlaf (or something like that). They're the ones with the inside skinny on why Putin's got great juju and is such a swell guy. He's a cracking good leader with or without his shirt. They can get behind him.

Most of their balderdash is justified by our shared disdain for Obama. Since Obama's a terrible US president, why not go for a foreign despot who bashes fags and controls his government run media and church. After all, who needs all those personal choices allowed in Europe and the US. Their view of Christianity, too, I guess, is that Putin ought to tell people where to go to church and when. Obviously, the correct answer is Putin-controlled Russian Orthodox.

When dealing with thses folks, I'm often reminded of the Liberals who were anti-anti-communists. Maybe some of these Putinistas are not fans of Putin, but they're sure against those who are against Putin restoring the Soviet empire. They're against freedom if some people in the free areas of the world are freaks, fags, and weirdoes. Let Putin decide where people go to church and what God's intent is. It's all inane, but they're very serious and persistent. It's getting to the point where their going to give this site a bad name and harm conservatism, but they don't care. Some of them are in love with Putin, and he comes first. Don't insult Putin without expecting a harsh reply.
