FERGUSON, Mo. Unrest returned to the streets of this St. Louis suburb early Saturday as hundreds of demonstrators, angered by the shooting death of an unarmed African-American teenager by a police officer, engaged in a standoff with the police that was punctuated by threats and a new round of denunciations of law enforcement practices.
The confrontation, the first serious one since the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Thursday assumed responsibility for security operations here, ended at about 4 a.m. when the authorities, prompted by the gradual dispersal of demonstrators, pulled back to their nearby command post. The Associated Press reported that one law enforcement official had been injured overnight.
The unrest, coming after a day of relative calm, resumed after the Ferguson police on Friday released the name of the officer who shot 18-year-old Michael Brown as well as surveillance videotape that appeared to show Mr. Brown stealing a box of cigarillos in a convenience store. His family and many protesters complained that the police were trying to divert attention from the central question: why an unarmed young man was shot dead....

Holder is the worst, and deserves those posters.
But it’s hard to say they were entirely wrong, since now that store got totally looted. Of course I don’t know if that was there objection, but I don’t think you have to be Sherlock Holmes to realize that might be a possible outcome.
Holder: Don’t release the tape, then everyone will see that our little darling was nothing more than a common criminal..please we have to milk this for all its worth
So you’re saying that the video (and therefore the police) is at fault for the store later being looted? Or did I misunderstand you?
The impotence of the EXEMPT Congress has cursed
the American people with the likes of Holder.
HOW MUCH ELSE HAS BEEN WITHHELD TO ATTACK
WHITE PEOPLE AND NON-MOSLEMS WHICH THE DO’J’
ATTACK EVERY SINGLE DAY???
B/S! Holder wanted to stir up the unrest.
And there's the answer to the question so many were asking yesterday about why the video was not released right away. Race pimp Holder wanted to milk it for asll he could get.
Justice Department asked taxpayers to stop paying taxes.... Yea, whatever.
Amen, I totally agree with your sentiments, Jim.
Obammy and his lapdog Holder would love to see more unrest...as long as it isn’t in Chicago or on a Golf course..
Looking at the actions of the DOJ WRT Zimmerman's trial I think you are correct.
The only reason that he still holds the position of AG is because the Republicans and Democrats are both A-OK with his character and actions.
Yeah, damn those videos. First, one video took out Benghazi, and now another one burned down a store in Ferguson.
Of course one was a Mohammad mocking slapstick video (probably viewed by ten people before the White House pointed out its existence), and the other one was a short documentary of a College bound gentle giant committing acts of assault and robbery... But the common denominator - videos. They cause all kinds of bad stuff to happen.
I’m still waiting to see the cop’s dashcam video / audio.
protesters complained that the police were trying to divert attention from the central question: why an unarmed young man was shot dead....
So the truth is not important to these people?
The central question now is did he attack the police officer because of the fact he had just strong arm robbed someone? But because they made this ONLY about race from the start the truth will not matter and justice will not be seen from this point forward. Instead it will all be politics.
We need to curfew holder
The “Just Us” Dept. didn’t want the “gentle giant” to be seen as he really was......a THUG, THIEF, BULLY Jerk!! he was BOUND for trouble.....sadly Officer Wilson’s life will NEVER be safe.
And if Eric Holder's team thought it was the wrong thing to do, then I am certain it was the right thing to do.
You’ll wait forever. That department says they don’t have dashcams.
