Yep - nothing like lashing out at those who had nothing to do with a perceived injustice in order to achieve justice. Just like the idiots who claim nobody is illegal - bet they'd react different if those poor immigrants decided to squat on their property and utilize their assets...
One of my middle school students went off on how illegals should be allowed to cross the border anytime they wished and have whatever freebies they wanted. I asked:
Do you have doors on your house?
Yes.
Do you lock them?
Yes.
Why?
I don't want anyone in my house. They might rob us.
So, you lock your doors to keep people who don't belong there out.
But, but my grandma's not bad!?! (a dim light bulb started to turn on)
So, I should leave my door open for your grandma to come in, sit on my couch, eat my food and do whatever she wants?
But, but, yeah.
Good, I can send my grandma and all my cousins over to your house to camp out and you'd be ok with it.
But, but, whaaaaaaaa!
The other students didn't say a word during all this but smiled and let her tie herself into knots.
