His actions in the convenience store show that he is an aggresive thug. However, this has no bearing on the shoot. If he was indeed surrendering and posed no threat it was a bad shoot. If he did struggle for the officers gun in the cruiser, the first shot was a good shoot.
The real problem is what came after. If he was advancing on the officer when he was outside of the car after the struggle for the gun, it was a good shoot. If he was not advancing and was surrendering it was a bad shoot.
I would sure like to get a toxicology report on this. Any sane man regardless of his size and height does not try to take away a cop’s gun.
In cases like this the first victim is “The Truth.”
That was obvious from the moment the protests started.

Lord. You really think that? It’s truly amazing what a disconnect some people have with reality. At most the boy had a little bud or some sizzup floating around in his brain, nothing to significantly alter his or impair his judgement. Work a little bit in EMS, fire, police, or spend some time working in the ED... you’ll find out how people outside white picket fences live.
You may get up each morning and go to work, pay your taxes every year like a good citizen, and mow your lawn on the weekends. You though, are abnormal. Most of the world doesn’t live like you, doesn’t think like you, and doesn’t act like you. You live in a nice, safe, law-abiding bubble surrounded by other meek, domesticated human beings just like you.
You probably don’t have many friends and family members that make a living selling drugs and milking benefits programs, you probably don’t have many friends and family members in prison right now, you probably don’t know more than a handful of people that have been murdered (or murdered someone), you probably never beat someone just because you could, hell you probably don’t even know where the nearest strip club is.
You sir (or madam), simply cannot relate.
