Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) claimed that racial profiling is not a concern in Ferguson, Missouri, because all of the protesters are of a "continental origin."

This is just stupid. The protesters are after the fact of the shooting. It's not a relevant association. Ferguson is about 23 percent white, so the possibility of racial profiling is still valid.

There are a lot of lucid criticisms to be made of black behavior here, but King is just sloppy. He is not helping.
