His Chief of Police has contradicted him and said that the officer did not know about the robbery when he stopped Brown. Either the friend is lying or the officer is being set up by his departmental brass to take a fall.
He didn’t know until he was stopping the kids, still in his car, over the radio, and the kid likely heard it too and why he shoved the officer back into the car when he went to get out.
IMHO, two confrontations ... initial, and when he got more details and backed up.
He pulled up ahead of them. And then he got a call-in that there was a strong-arm robbery. And, they gave a description. And, hes looking at them and they got something in their hands and it looks like it could be what, you know those cigars or whatever. So he goes in reverse back to them. ...
“Brown. Either the friend is lying or the officer is being set up by his departmental brass to take a fall.”
Or he approached them about walking in the middle of the road and then heard about the robbery while speaking with the perp...
There’s no contradiction there. At the time he stopped, he had not received the BOLO on the radio.
Re-watch the Police Chief press conference. Initially cop didnt know about robbery. But what Chief didnt say is after the cop passes the two guys the call came in...
Or the Chief was just speculating and doesn’t really know.
Oh, so you did read the reports but decided to ignore them and stick to your narrative of what happened. I could be wrong on the bumrush as I have read so much on the subject. However I will reserve judgement on whether I am wrong on the term bumrush. However the “witness” did say that Brown started for the policeman.
