As challenging as parenting is, black families in particular are assuming more burdens. As challenging as parenting is, black families in particular are assuming more burdens. "Basically you have to separate yourself in this day and time. It's sad but it's true. They profile you just by first appearances"
(Excerpt) Read more at cnn.com ...
“Black males are criminalized from the time we enter the ‘system,’ and I’m talking about school,” Perry said. “From the time children enter the system, African-American males are the most suspended, most punished of any group. Period.”
Yeah, not to speak of being the most violent and disrupting group. Period.
Take a logic class, Perry. You may see a cause and effect there.
So they entered "the system" before they entered free daycare, I mean, school.
That’s not the truth, idiots.
The truth is, “black culture” is all about BEING a criminal from youth, continuing into adulthood if they live that long, and dying a criminal because it is “glorified”.
“Stop snitchin” etc.
Somewhat true, and sad. But my white son says that when he was in academia, research appointments were far easier to obtain if you weren’t a white heterosexual male. PC has gone wild. That’s fact, too, and involves judgement by color.
Another hate ‘Whitey’ article
This is sad, but true. That said, the black leadership now needs to get over it and move on to the real question: What can blacks do to overcome that first impression. My guess is that their behavior in Ferguson isn't helping.
Drop the uniform of the angry oppressed, stop being combative, and accept that respect won’t come overnight.
Since we are being all truthful let’s talk about black crime.
(1) Adopt the dress, speech patterns, gestures, and attitude of a career criminal - and then unsurprisingly get mistaken for a career criminal
or
(2) Adopt the dress, speech patterns, gestures and attitude of a productive, law-abiding citizen - and then get targeted and abused by your neighbors for "acting white."
It is a Catch-22, but only because one side of it the equation is rigorously enforced by "the community."
Hopefully that "hard truth" is "Don't try to grab a cop's gun or you might get shot...."
I'd settle for them pulling their damn pants up.
It’s not blacks, it’s teens, I am just as petrified for teens of all races and sexes as the police have brutalized without hesitation all, including women.
Note the mentality in the bolded part above: "driving faster than the police thought I should've been driving", rather than "driving over the posted speed limit". He thinks he has the right to do as he pleases, regardless of the law, and when he breaks the law and gets pulled over, it's all an arbitrary harassment by the police just because he's black.
“Black males are criminalized from the time we enter the ‘system,’ and I’m talking about school,” Perry said.
As with all things liberal, he who controls the meaning of the words and phrases controls the outcome of the debate.
In this case, just what exactly is the ‘system’?
Is the ‘system’ black culture in general, where 74% of children are raised without the father in the home? To what extent does the “system” force black men to murder other black men at a rate that is 14x higher than white men murdering white men?
Maybe the ‘system’ is at fault, but the system is not one imposed by whites on blacks, but the one that blacks have adopted out of their own cultural preferences, the system that is killing them.
Maybe black youths are given extra scrutiny, but then anyone who chooses to express themselves by dressing like a gangsta deserve it regardless of skin color.
Exactly. And it is the result of 'social engineering' by liberal dums. The socialists robbed the black community of their dignity and made them completely DEPENDENT upon 'government'. They took away the very foundation of the black family ... a strong father and marriage. The cycle of dependence, poverty, irresponsibility, hopelessness, entitlement, anger, etc. are the fruits of liberal government.
A 'hand up' NOT a 'hand out'. Before liberal democRATS experimented with their ill-designed pandering, the black family was strong and resilient, in spite of the very real discrimination that existed in the 60's. #PleaseStop'Helping'Us
Black families? What is the make-up of a Black family today? The Dems have totally destroyed “families” and esp minority families.
CNN fail.
