But what I caught last night in Ferguson and again tonight was the protests being led by COMMUNISTS from revcom.us
Their name was on banners last night and the two guys (sharing bullhorn duty)leading the rally in Ferguson are wearing revcom.us T-Shirts.
If you see mass produced, identical signs you know this is not spontaneous. I would not be surprised if revcom.us is leading the NYC protest.
They are trying to get the crowd fired up and trying to provoke a police reaction.
I started a separate thread for NYC so this one isn’t disrupted. From the sound of the crowd, sounds like more than several hundred marching

A guy just walked up and punched my photographer in the face 4 times. People in the crowd rushed to help, the guy ran.
