To: Uncle Chip

Someone posted a criminal record a day or so ago, and it looked legitimate - an incident back in February, if I remember correctly.

There were 4 separate charges relating to whatever happened, and they looked pretty serious.

I also saw a photograph of Michael Brown wearing “colors”, and flashing a gang hand sign.

I have no idea what to think, except I wish people would not challenge (or appear to challenge) police when there is a situation.

Considering the pressure that urban police face on a daily basis, and the lack of time an officer has to make a decision about the use of his weapon, it is stupid to act in a threatening way.

Not that I think all police are without fault - many are wired way too tight, and apt to react first, think second.

Michael Brown is a common name - it might have been another Mike Brown.

Most people would never think of causing any confrontation with a police officer. Seems like there is more to the story. High? Who knows.
