“what these soldiers have to say about Bergdahl isnt as important as protecting Obama from criticism for swapping five Taliban leaders for Bergdahl.”
POLITICAL CONSIDERATIONS now be the most important criteria for book publisher’s, in Obama’s Fascist America??
And they aren’t afraid to say it, either.

Book publishing through publishers is old model.
Esp. if publishers are so yellow livered. I have no use for them.

The authors need to find a new publisher who has some backbone. Michelle Malkin is a well-published writer who could probably steer them in the right direction.

A book proposal drafted by Sgt. Bowe Bergdahls platoon mates has one publisher worried it would subject President Barack Obama to criticism,
And this is bad because.....???

The proposal also claims that the Taliban had improved their IED attacks against American vehicles since his desertion, and that Bergdahl was training Taliban forces, although the latter claim is unsubstantiated. It was confirmed by the Taliban......................

Im not sure we can publish this book without the Right using it to their ends, Sarah Durand wrote in an e-mail to one of the soldiers agents I bet she'd shout out her deep-throated approval for a book that leftists could use to their ends.

Publishing houses edit books, give advances, provide some ad and promo support. Still the preferred way to publish — if you can.
(Self-pub books are often an unreadable mess.)
This book might well be published by Regnery, an excellent house that’s been publishing conservative books for more than 50 years, with many on the bestseller list. Soldiers’ agent should know this.

“Why would that be a problem for a book publisher?”
Book publishers have become the conduit for bribes to politicians. You want to bribe Hillary or just curry favor. After discussing it with her handlers you go to the publisher they suggest and work a deal. You want to give her $8 million. You give the publisher, say, $9 million and they write a contract to her and giver her the advance. She then has the book ghost written for, say, $30,000 (as in “It takes a village.” There are no embarrassing photos of Hillary or somebody from her entourage stuffing bundles of cash into their coats, as there was with Abscam.) Everybody is happy.

NOTHING can harm the King of Teflon. The publisher needs to lighten up. No matter how @#!#! up he is, EVERYBODY LOVES BARRY.

In most fascist totalitarian states, the media had to be threatened with death or imprisonment, to themselves or their family, in order to get them properly in line.
The toadying renfields in today's US media slavishly trip over each other to do their master's bidding.
