Daily RFT asked St. Louis County Police spokesman Brian Schellman why police haven’t interviewed Johnson.
“We have reached out to him and looked for him on numerous occasions. We’ve also contacted his friends,” he said. “We reached out to his attorney’s office, we put a call in to his attorney and we’re waiting on a return phone call.”
Daily RFT asked Schellman to clarify whether or not they’d actually been to Johnson’s house to try to find him, and he affirmed that officers had.
“We’ve been unsuccessful,” he said.
They had 200 officers on the scene and not one of them had the presence of mind to take his statement. Well he now has a lawyer and the lawyer has an office and they should have no problem setting up a time now.

BTW I saw interviews with people on the scene being done by reporters but none of those people have been interviewed either.
And their stories are consistent on the main points that disagree with the story being told by the popo.
So I ask this question: Where did the police get the story that they are telling that differs from that of all these witnesses — as if we don’t know???
Old news blueplum...he was interviewed yesterday.
I think good to remember that police will often wait, and have a system of how they go about interviewing witnesses. Generally they get info at the scene in part and then the actual investigation ensues where witnesses are more carefully looked at and researched before that next interview.
It’s important to determine credibility and relationships over time.
