What’s “impure” about Brownback?
NOTHING.....I’m all for him, but he might have done one thing that conservatives didn’t agree with, and then they stay home and the Dems get in.
I believe he is soft on amnesty.
But he has quietly gone about and changed a lot of things, just like Scott Walker....just without all the national press.
He ended guaranteed tenure for teachers, cleaned house with a lot of politically active members of the supposedly neutral state government, ended the use of Davis Bacon wage rates on state projects, signed a bill requiring some people on the dole to get drug screened, signed a bill outlawing automatic payroll withholding for union dues for state employees, lots of pre-emptive legislation to protect gun rights, etc etc. All in all he’s done well.
The guy is as slimy as a bag of night crawlers in a bag of hand lotion.
He voted pro-amnesty, saw it was going the other way, so he switched his vote towards the end.
He’s always given strong praises for abortion lover Sebelius.
