Recently, as my friend and I were waiting in line at a farmers market in Pennsylvania, we chatted with a man also waiting in line. As we left, she and I discussed the appallingly short memory span of many today. She and I discussed how the gentleman in line with us had blamed President George W. Bush for Americans dying in combat, claiming, “Bush led those boys over there to die.” But, like many, he conveniently forgot the history of lives lost under Democratic presidents.

A close friend escaped Castro’s Cuba with his family. Today he is a successful businessman. Recently as we talked, he made clear his absolute contempt for John Kennedy because of the Bay of Pigs treachery. But, those Americans who are blaming Bush apparently do not recall that disaster.

But Obama said his Dec 2011 troop withdraw, “leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self-reliant Iraq”.

‘His buck’ stopped right then, right there.

AND to this day, we are still debating Iraq was a ‘unnecessary’ war on Free Republic.

I think that type is convinced our troops smuggled it home, bit by bit, in thermoses or something.

He also believes that 9/11 was an inside job and Noah was not the only survivor of the flood. There might have been up to 10,000 survivors. Of course he knows this for a fact.

Democrats won the last war we won. And if you review FDR's EOs from 12/8/41-1/8/42, they make very interesting reading.

He was a guy who, when it came to making war instead of issuing press releases, knew what was going on.
