It wasn’t two days ago I said to my husband, we need to get Mrs. Doubtfire, the kids will love that!

I know in light of all that’s going on the world (and when isn’t it?) a performer’s death isn’t really all that important. Especially to me, a conservative and one who tries to eschew all the “celebrity” trash in our culture. But I can’t help it - this makes me sad.

SO funny you were thinking of that movie. Definitely get it for you and the kids to watch, but will be kind of sad for me to see it now. My kids and I bought it maybe a year or two ago, but we watched it several times together. I had seen it pre-kids. Wow, can’t believe it came out in 1993. And it was maybe a week or two ago that my little girl had brought it up to me again. We hadn’t watched it in a while. She couldn’t remember the title of it and was wondering where the DVD was. Like you said, not earth shattering for us in our life, but still very sad to me.
