I hope that you are wrong, and that God forgives those who despair.

I hope that you are wrong, and that God forgives those who despair.
And provides healing for those that are sick.

This is not editor's opinion, it's Biblical doctrine (teaching), i.e., the basics of what it means to be a true believer in Jesus Christ.
Taking a life is serious business in God's eyes. This is obviously because God is the creator and giver of life, and thus the taking of those lives he creates is his prerogative. King David, described in the Bible as a "man after God's own heart", was not permitted by God to build the temple because King David - even though he did so at the Lord's command - had "shed blood abundantly".
1 Chronicles 22:8 "But the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight."
Only God's chosen, his elect, will be with him eternally; all others are doomed to everlasting separation from God.
When one commits suicide, it's proof positive that one is not a converted sinner, a true believer who is, as the Bible says, born again, or "born of water and the spirit", as such a grave sin and end of one's life is Scripturally incompatible with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit within the believer.
1 Corinthians 6:19 "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"
Many professing Christians fall short in their study of the God's Word and are not aware that their beliefs are not according to God's Word, the Bible. We only have up until the moment we die to be converted, to become convicted of our own sin, and cast ourselves at the feet of the risen Lord Jesus Christ who reigns in heaven at the right hand of God the Father.

God forgives those who despair. I'm convinced that He does. God knows what is in everyone's heart, and He is merciful and just. I pity those who believe that God is evil and hateful. If you can see the good in someone, surely God can see it.

He is wrong as long as he came to Christ before death. I hope he did.
To those who come to Jesus Christ, God declares, “I will remember their sins and iniquities NO MORE (past present and future”) (Heb 8:12; 10:17). The is the everlasting and perfect new covenant in his blood.
