Ferguson, Missouri (KMOV.com) – What started as a peaceful prayer vigil Saturday evening to remember a young man gunned down by police, has escalated into full scale riots and looting in Ferguson, Missouri.
Angry mobs have smashed windows, set fires and looted businesses as a massive showing of police, some wearing riot gear have moved into the area along West Florissant just south of 270.
Police are also responding to reports of shootings throughout the area. At one point, windows of a News 4 live truck were smashed out by the angry crowd.

But they are working really hard at looting. And they have a strategy—go where the good stuff is in small groups-— that takes logic and logistics. Why can’t they apply themselves otherwise to conventional productivity?

Dependent on several factors (imho). The amount of firearms, ammo and the will of those intent on committing crime(s). One attack on some neighborhoods and the perps will be taken down hard. As long as the perps burn their own neighborhood they might survive unless the property owners in their neighborhoods begin to fight back (imho).

It’d take some type of False Flag level event to travel to other states.
Something like an Oklahoma City in the face of a NAACP march or crazy like that. That’d cause riots around the nation.
Usually these are just local events.
There is no way on God’s green they should let them near any place with a large store of weapons.
Just tell your son to stay out of North St. Louis City (MO) and East St. Louis (IL). To learn exactly where it is and to stay out of there. You can look up crime statistics online for the whole area St. Louis City and St. Louis County.
Oh they parents are millionaires already. They are calling for peace and calm. They are set for life after this.
They should. The civil disturbances of the '60s were well studied, right down to when to bring what level of force to get people off the streets.
The formulas are there, all that is missing is the will to use them.
One good thing, it's the end of a weekend rather than the beginning, might stop it from spreading further.........Might.
I am not a fan of cops. However, since when does one injustice tell us to condone others?
The looters and other thieves and vandals don’t give a rat’s behind about that kid getting shot. It is just an excuse to destroy and steal. If killing black folks caused them so much grief, why do they keep doing it?
CNN can get into and broadcast live from war zones in Gaza, Afghanistan and Iraq.
But they can’t get into St. Louis to put a team on the ground to cover this?

Cops leave a store and the looters return. TV news said this was happening often. Also I wonder if the looters are calling in false reports to 911?
