Journalists almost never have areas of expertise. in fact, other than pushing words around, they usually have no experience at anything at allYES. I worked at the Times in a financial job about 17 years ago. What a bunch of miserable pompous elitists the editorial board was. No expertise in anything. Just a bunch of self-righteous know-nothings.
