The man positively identified one of the boys, a 15-year-old from Atlantic Beach, as the one who had struck him. At headquarters, the boy initially denied involvement, then confessed. Police tried to call the boy’s mother but could not reach her. He was taken to the county jail and booked on battery charges.
It was also discovered that another one of the boys, also a 15-year-old from Atlantic Beach, had been reported missing. He was suspected by Atlantic Beach police of stealing multiple bicycles within the city. He was also arrested and taken to jail.

I live in Atlantic Bch and walk”alone” on both Atlantic and Neptune beaches. There are always many people on the beach.
