Can anybody reminds us of Clinton’s campaign against Serbia to protect Kosovo from Milosevic?
I believe it was done mostly from bombs from the sky and no boots on the ground.... (but please correct me if I am wrong ).
We could always nuke it from orbit or something like that.
There’s a point early on in a campaign where airstrikes make a difference. Then, it’s flat and stagnant. Toss in the potential for the bad guys to acquire missiles and take down a fighter, and it starts to become another type of conflict.
Unless the Iraqi army suddenly develops courage....I don’t see how this really changes anything. I’ll predict by January that the country is split into three countries, and that Jordan is next on the list for invasion. Unless Egypt comes to their rescue....Jordan will last less than a month before it falls.
