Everyone said that if you choose not to leave a force behind in Iraq, then chaos will ensue. This was the ‘main’ point made on Cable TV for about six months.
Now, chaos is ensuing. Shock!!!
There is absolutely no logical reason to help in Iraq today based on President Obama’s previous arguments. If it wasn’t important four years ago, why is it important now?
Obama chose once again to score short-term political points at the cost of what was best for the country.
Did we really vote for this guy?
Not directly. Someone else does all the voting for us.
Maybe some contributed by not picking the lesser of two evils and just did not vote? I am not impressed by the current crop of so called conservatives, but; I will still vote against all Dems just to keep anymore progressives from winning. The only chance I can see to get rid of O’bozo is no Dem control of either House.
Osama bin Laden declared war against the US in his famous 1996 fatwa. No one seemed to take him seriously.
My problem with Obama is that he waited too long to take action against ISIS, which is a threat to our citizens abroad and here. Obama's failure to negotiate a SOFA with Iraq helped create the existing situation. Doing nothing just compounds the mistake.

Not I, said the blind man. I have done many stupid things in my sojourn on the third rock, I have made mistakes that cost me money, I have made mistakes that cost me my peace of mind, many, many stupid things I have done but I have never been even halfway stupid enough to vote for Barack Obama. He was so obviously a disaster seeking an office in which to happen that I even voted for John McCain, a man I believed would be an awful president, simply to try to prevent the worse disaster of having Obama elected. I still believe McCain would not have been AS BAD as Obama. I purposefully don’t use the term better than because that might imply that there would have been something good about either one. I say not as bad in the same way that I would say that being bitten by a Copperhead is not as bad as being bitten by an Eastern Diamondback. I certainly don’t desire either one but sometimes you are forced to choose.
