Democrats will not even be voting for democrats in the general election. The party in TN is basically the black population. There are no black candidates and so they will stay home
If it had been Alexander against Carr and Carr only, Carr would have won by more than 10,000 votes.

My friend complains about congress and the damned republicans that won’t stand up to Obama...then he votes for Lindsey Graham.
There are wrong conclusions being drawn to support specific politics.
The Tea Party did not lose anymore than anybody that loses to an incumbent. Incumbents win. It takes really bad, I mean really bad incumbent to lose. The incumbent Republican Tony Shipley lost here....... he was really really bad

Yeah, that’s the low information crowd that returns skunks like Alexander, Graham, and McCain to office even while they’re complaining about Washington.

It is tough to knock off an incumbent. That’s why it’s relatively rare.
