Yes. The last couple of times we have gotten food from McDonald’s (very infrequent, but there is one very close to home), it was $15-16 for two people, basic food.

Yup.
The other day I noticed they have a new promotion, two Big Macs for $5.
I remember maybe 10-15 years ago the promotion was two for $2.
That’s a 150% increase. On what’s supposed to be a loss-leading promotion.

These are less than $3.50 (and until beef prices got run up, were $2.95 just a couple of years ago)....a Mac Grande is in the mid to upper 4's, I believe.

Yep, that's just about what we paid at a local McD. I rarely eat this stuff, but that last Big Mac I had was BLEHH! For a couple of $$ more we go to Dennys of Perkins and the food is much better.
