my buddy in Seoul monitors the border. He says there have been a lot of troop movements by the norks towards the north part of the border. But they are doing it a little at a time, like russia in ukraine, as to not stir the pot. This is OPPOSITE of what they usually do so sets off red flags something real is being set up. Plus with that chicom incident with the our sub last week off the washington coast that was hushed up quick, its obvious the new axis powers are prepping for something big. Wonder if the hamas tunnels were to be the first line of attack and we got lucky that isreal took them out before it all got started. Guess we will see in the next few weeks.

true. And during the cold war year, the reds routinely entered the North American ADIZ. Just the Russians playing the same old “tweak the eagles tail feathers” game they always have.

Why are these flights unusual? What’s in Wikipedia includes a mention of going out to identify Russian training flights as if they’re pretty common, so, how do these flights differ? Any ideas?
After the fall of the USSR, Russia didn’t have the bucks or operational readiness rates to do the usual Cold War probing of the ADIZ. . .then all of a sudden, they do.
