It appears Dems and the Obmanation are invitiong Republicans into the impeachment briar patch becuse they know an impeachment move will fail with the present senate makeup and, they hope, redound against the GOP.

There is a clear case for impeachment and I fail to see why Republicans do not want Democrats on the record as voting against impeaching a wildly unpopular and lawless pResident.
