I can’t believe God is angry at Liberia because of homosexuality. If that was the case we would be nothing but a heap of ashes by now.
I personally would like to see our religious leaders demonstrating that kind of humility.
To know God is to read his book. "The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness." (Romans 1:18). The epistle goes on to describe God giving over the reprobate to filthy sodomite practice. Those who practice such things are worthy of death. (Romans 1:32).
It's not just Romans. Consult Jude (:5,7ff).
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternally fire. When asked about divorce Jesus made it clear that God made man Male and Female and these two become one flesh in marriage. This is a holy symbol of God's eternal relationship with every believer, when we inhabiting the Jerusalem above dwell with God in Christ for ever. Sodomy perverts all of this. No sodomite will enter the kingdom of God--1 Corinthians 1:9. Those who identify as sodomites are damned.
The case could be made that we are burning right now...in the process of becoming that heap of ashes.
