Asd the film community battles to keep Hollywood close to home, another local industry adult entertainment -- is fleeing Los Angeles.
The number of permits issued for adult productions has plummeted since November 2012, when voters approved a measure that requires performers to wear condoms on sets.
Last year, 40 permits were issued for X-rated productions in the city and county, down about 90% from the estimated number of permits issued in 2012. And through July of this year, only 20 permits have been issued for adult productions, according to data from FilmL.A. Inc., the nonprofit group that handles film permits for the city and county.

Would they need an experienced TV/video production person by chance? I look for ways to keep my obsolete skills in practice, mostly producing stock footage.
Maybe Obama will bail them out,, tax credits, subsidies, find em cheaper labor, or better yet, he can fundraise for them.
Why would you have them as friends?
They’re my wife’s friends from her childhood. They are not video pornographers. They run a bunch of biker and club magazines in the area and host the adult video awards in the area every year. I think I’ve seen them a grand total of 5 times since my wife and I have been married.
You guys will have to do your part to help. Get out your cameras and start filming!
