while there is no need for panic at this point, I am also concerned at the “experts” on TV telling the public how they are not in danger and ebola is very difficult to contract

The answer lies somewhere in the middle. It is quite contagious and precautions need to be taken. And as we have seen in health care workers in Africa, even when precautions are taken, the disease is still transmitted.

Yes, this is the crap that is pissing me off. If this Ebola takes off in the wild here in the US, these so called medical experts should be up on charges for spreading false information. It's bad enough the media is spreading lies, but when there are deaths on the back of false information from doctors using the media, then they should be punished severely. We'd expect this kind of propaganda from the USSR of old not in the USA.
