We could not get pro 2nd Amendment laws passed in either House of the KS Legislature.

We had a string of Pro Choice governors.
Senator Nancy Kassebaum was a Liberal Republican.
Congressman Dan Glickman was a Liberal Democrat.
Congresswoman Jan Myers was a Liberal Republican.
Governor Bill Graves was a Liberal Republican.

BTW just what does your “laundry list” have to do with Pat Roberts? I’ll just bet that you voted for Bob Dole too. Personally, I don’t think “war heroes” are much good as politicians. Dole, Mc Lame, and even Eisenhower were/are not good at it. Possible exception was Col. West, and you can see what your buddies in the GOPe did to him. Go out and get loaded, you have Pat for another six years unless he doesn’t make it that long. In parting, say hello to all your friends down at the local Chamber of Communists, they will probably offer you a drink for helping them to “retain” Roberts.
