“Blows up an airliner with American citizens, installs Sharia law in Libya, funds terrorists etc,.”

Just before his death there was discussion in the UK about reopening the case about the downed airliner, there was further evidence apparently that although he paid a considerable sum in reparations, he may not have been responsible. You evidently didn’t read that report. He also stated quite clearly that he considered his support of the arab cause a huge mistake, which he did during a speech which Assad also attended and applauded. Sharia in Libya? That’s new to me. Women went to university, his personal security were women, women wore modern, western dress, and every newly married couple received an endowment of $50 thousand dollars - health care was free.
This man would no longer bow to the demands of the allied arab states and used the nations oil revenues for the improvement of the lives of the people.
He had to be destroyed. He was setting a very bad example.

You bought the propaganda, didn’t you?

http://edition.cnn.com/2012/05/22/world/lockerbie-suspects-qa/

On Monday, Scotland’s First Minister told British media that the Lockerbie case was still a live investigation. But new evidence may be hard to find.

Saif Gadhafi, Moammar Gadhafi’s son, who is in custody in Libya and wanted by the International Criminal Court to face charges of alleged crimes against humanity, will have the facts, according to Robertson.

If you were unaware that he brought Sharia law in, perhaps it’s you that should do a bit more reading.

If the best you can come up with is that he might not have been involved in Lockerbie, I find that to be as tepid an endorsement of someone as I have ever heard.

Yeah, that Gaddafi was a great human being.

Ah, so when he knew the jig was up, he changed his tune. I guess if Obama changed his tune after he leaves office you will like him, too.

You are eating propaganda for breakfast lunch and dinner. NATO destroyed an entire nation, killed heaven knows how many civilians, handed Libya over to the fanatics, and you still dump on the victim. Congratulations, you’ve been indoctrinated. Totally.

Benghazi was a riot caused by a video that insulted the prophet. The death of the ambassador was an unfortunate accident. Sleep. The government will look after you.

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/01/12/libya-lurch-toward-shariah-sends-chill-through-christian-community/

Libya’s recent edict that its coming constitution will be based on Shariah law has sent a chill through the North African nation’s small Christian community.

Libya’s Coptic Christians, who number about 300,000, or 5 percent of the population, were allowed to practice their faith under dictator Muammar Qaddafi. But since the strongman was ousted from power, and ultimately killed, Muslim fundamentalists have increasingly filled the power void. Last month, the national assembly voted in favor of making Koranic law, or Shariah, the basis of all legislative decisions, meaning Islam will shape all future banking, criminal and financial cases.

“... Christians and others in the Middle East have every right to want a free, democratic society.”
- Patrick Sookhdeo, The Barnabus Fund

“Islamic law is the source of legislation in Libya,” stated the General National Congress in a statement released shortly after the vote was held. “All state institutions need to comply with this.”

A special committee has begun reviewing existing laws to ensure that they comply with Shariah, according to a recent report.

The emerging political and legal system’s orientation, combined with the rise of militants in the oil-rich nation, has left Christians feeling like the promise of democracy in the wake of Qaddafi’s fall has been broken.

“NATO went to war in Libya on the basis of a full democracy,” Patrick Sookhdeo, international director for human rights group The Barnabus Fund, told FoxNews.com. “But what we have ended up with is a fractured government in which religious extremism of the worst kind has now taken over the government.”

“The concern is that this conflict has produced the exact opposite of a democratic government,” he added.

Sookhdeo adds that the recent legislation will have a serious effect on those in Libya who desire a fair and just society —especially those in the country who are not of the Muslim faith. The status and rights of women will have to be addressed in Libya’s future constitution, analysts say.

Sookhdeo likened Libya’s situation to what happened in Egypt after longtime leader Hosni Mubarak was replaced by Mohammed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood-backed president who in turn was ousted by the military after he was seen as pushing the nation toward Islamic rule.

“They [Christians] will not have full citizenship,” he said, referring to the recent ouster of Muslim Brotherhood backed President Morsi when his administration attempted to implement similar legislation.

Christian workers, including Copts who come from Egypt in search of work, have been targeted since Qaddafi’s ouster in October 2011. Earlier this year, Libyan authorities reportedly released four Egyptian missionaries who had been arrested for proselytizing. A fifth Egyptian Christian, Ezzat Atallah, died while in prison. Their supporters say all they did was possess images of the cross for their own spiritual reflection.

The danger for Christians and other non-Muslims in Libya was underscored again last month when an American teacher was murdered. Ronnie Smith, 33, of Texas, who was teaching chemistry at Benghazi’s International School, was shot to death on Dec. 5 while jogging. The killing highlighted persistently tenuous security in the eastern Libyan city where U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens was killed during an attack on the embassy Sept. 11, 2012.

There is a good chance tha Ghadaffi was framed by intertribal jihadhi politics.

He was a ‘red neck’ Arab, and the Saudis could not stand him.He was a Sheik-daddy, and had a very “cool” image cultyivated in the ‘70s.His greening of the desert and prosperity brought to his people offended the Saudis , as you say.

Ghadaffi understood freedom, and strived to evolve it in his people. Ghadaffi’s enemies abhorred freedom......including Sheik Obazma and his Obagasmic-tingled followers. I believe Obama is done now politically, democrat Jews are abandoning him in droves after the public reveal of Obama’s connection and activities with Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Your post is right on Fred. It is surprising how people just believe the media instead of examining history, its just too much work for most. Ghadaffi was opne of the first , but not the last, international victim of Obama fascism.

Bibi Nethanyahu may be next.

Did you two lovers of freedom support his kidnapping and raping numerous young girls? Hitler was misunderstood, too.

Good Heavens! The last thing I wanted to achieve was to take you out of your comfort zone. That NATO was used to turn a thriving nation into a rubble-pit shouldn't keep you awake. Neither should the deaths of an uncountable number of foreign workers at the hands of the fanatics who now are slaughtering each other over the remains of what was a wealthy, productive nation. Gaddafi had to be demonised to give NATO an excuse for the destruction and death they caused. Put on your mittens and button up your over-coat, it's a cold, nasty world out there. You can't afford to catch a runny nose.

his kidnapping and raping numerous young girls>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Source? Thats just courtship in most Tuareg tribes.

“Some African tribal traditions are a mystery and fascination for most of the modern world. Tribal communities sometimes live without many of the modern comforts the rest of us have. Here are 5 fascinating traditions from several African tribes.

1. Kidnapping your bride.

In the Sudanese Latuka tribe, when a man wants to marry a woman, he kidnaps her. Elderly members of his family go and ask the girl’s father for her hand in marriage, and if he agrees, the father beats the man as a sign of his acceptance of the union.”

Ghadaffi was overall, a good man and a loyal US ally who was held in disrespect by all Arab nations and hated by the Saudis.Obama will be judged in History as an idiot who needlessly ruined a whole nation.

None of that is going to sink in, the propaganda fed to the population has turned their brains to porridge. I posted the link to the video in which he literally foretold his own destiny, although he didn’t realize it. The looks on the faces of the arabs in that gathering told you all you needed to know.
And Assad, applauding, didn’t catch on either.
Now both their countries are ashes and rubble.

And the black flag of the ‘last prophet’ mad mohammad, marches on.

yes I had seen that video. Its interesting when Ghadaffi calls the Arabs on the fact that they are enemies of each other. Those who had been laughing at him fell silent.

Now ISIS scourges all of them.

The video is indeed prophetic. Ghadaffi was not as crazy as all of his Arab assocaiates had thought.

Barbarism? Look at your own.

You justify Obama’s NATO grift destruction of a US ally , a nation both politically and economically successful, now reduced to rubble by what your narrow view cites as barbarism?

The only barbarism executed by Ghadaffi was in Western Libya against the jihadhis who sought to render Libya’s economic success a nullity by establishing and forcing Sharia law, and Obama sided with those jihadhis via the Muslim Brotherhood.

And you say that Ghadaffi was barbaric? You are the one wearing that shoe my FRiend.Obama is the one who reduced the successful Libyan nation to rubble, and unleashed the Libyan arsenal to genocidal ISIS.And you support that?

Buahahahahahahaha!

Barbaric indeed. Ashaoles rarely know themselves.

People who laugh at what they write are always pathetic, like the idiots who type lol.

Obama stinks, but the history of Gadaffi has nothing to do with him.

Your only accurate statement was your last sentence.

Obama stinks, but the history of Gadaffi has nothing to do with him.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Ghadaffi’s history has everything to do with Obama. Its what got Ghadaffi killed. He would not join the Obama Arab spring wagon, now would he pay Obama the thug any money, after Obama’s African relatives put the money hit on him.

Obama has a multitude of little extortion rackets on the go,
and Libya was merely one of many. Generally Obama has lost on most of them. Too bad Gadaffi is dead and his civilized nation now in rubble and poverty.Soon Obama will join him in the dust bin of history. The whole of Africa suffers because of what happened to Libya, and the desert, once greening, has returned to its desolation, which you seem to prefer as a matter of course.
