It's not their votes, per se since they're only about 1% of the population. "It's the fundraising, stupid." I will make a note of it for my future Cruz/Palin efforts.

Keep in mind that American Jews are not proportionately dispersed among the general population. Their population is heavily skewed toward the northeast urban areas where their votes do indeed make a difference - often the difference.
