The choke hold isn’t the issue.

Failure to care for your charge, prisoner in this case, is the issue.

Choked the guh to death? No.

Didn’t attempt to ascertain what medical care could be rendered and as I understand it, telling the EMT’s not to render care?

Uhmmm, that’s wrong.

The choke hold was the issue to me. The media reported that the man died from the choke hold. He did not. So we agree there.

As far as not rendering care, I read that an ambulance was called for, the man was transported to the hospital and died there about an hour later. From what I read he did not die at the scene. I have not read anything saying the cops told the EMT’s not to render any care. If they did that then shame on them, I would not defend those actions, I would condemn them.
