Throw-down gun?
Bill Jordan told of an incident on the southern border in which a smuggler was shot. The story was the smuggler crossing a foot bridge, pulled a .22, fired at the border patrolman. The smuggler was shot and his pistol fell into the river with two shots fired.
Their was a trial of the border patrolman from overzealous supervisors.
Bill went down to the bridge, and at the exact spot where the smuggler was shot, he leaned over to look in the river, and a cheap .22 with two shots fired that Bill had in his shirt pocket accidentally fell into the river.
Later, the supervisors went to the exact spot with a magnet to see if they could retrieve the smuggler’s gun.
To their surprise, they pulled out four or five .22 pistols all with two shots fired.
