Airport staff tonight told of their fears of an Ebola outbreak after a passenger from Sierra Leone collapsed and died as she got off a plane at Gatwick.
Workers said they were terrified the virus could spread globally through the busy international hub from the West African country which is in the grip of the deadly epidemic.
The woman, said to be 72, became ill on the gangway after she left a Gambia Bird jet with 128 passengers on board. She died in hospital.

What stood out to me is this:
Were reliant and interdependent with the world for travel, for trade, for the economy, for our families and communities."
Reminds me of a shark movie where they don't want to shut down the summer business by telling the tourists that there's something in the water eating people.

Maybe some enterprising folk will start raising funds to pay for tickets from Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj in early October.

Well now, I wonder what this guy has to say about that?
He'll probably say wait till all the facts are in and that it's unlikely the broad actually died of Ebola.....
But then again, that would be contrary to the MSM's attempt to drum up viewership via this contrived Ebola crisis........
I'll start worrying about it when the MSM has to resort to "Global Pandemic" (well, not really since they've certainly abused that term) in order to keep the ratings up.......

I’m worried in advance - didn’t worry that much about bird flu or SARS or all those other ones but this one seems quite scary.

World-wide panic is setting in. Everything else will soon be on the back burner. Leni Gee, I wonder......would that include national elections ?

OTOH, the TSA is very, very good at making sure nobody carries soft drinks or mouthwash or tubes of toothpaste exceeding the mandated miniscule amount through security. Where are your priorities? < / sarcasm >

What strikes me is the media typically emphasizes how much we need to worry about viruses like SARS, MERS, H1N1 and the rest. And nothing ever happens.
But now they’re going out of their way to say how we don’t need to worry about an Ebola outbreak.

All flights from Africa should be canceled/quarantined and we should close all borders to anyone coming from or recently visiting these places in Africa. Maybe time to close all of our borders for a bit.

That’s an interesting observation.
They must be worried about mass panic.
