During the Cold War we didn’t let avowed Communists immigrate to our country. Their world view was opposed to our constitution and our culture.
Now we receive enemies more uncivil and more fanatic than the average Communist, because their world view has a supernatural component, making it a religion.
And because the unofficial, but real, state religion of the United States is Anti-discrimination, so we must let in nearly anyone, without thought for our country or our children, be they Islamist, Communist, or Chinese Fascist.
I don’t think we let in many Christians.

I have just got news from relatives living in all parts of Israel. They have seen the Iron Dome in action overhead. They stop in the middle of sentences when they hear a possible missile incoming.
It is monstrous that the world attacks Israel for hitting civilians in Gaza, when the Arabs have been sending rockets and missles into the Israeli civilian population with impunity for years. I applaud Marine Vega for the courage and unwillingness to “do nothing” while the enemy enjoys the freedom Marine Vega swore an oath to defend.
