Rand Paul’s poem about Alison Grimes: “There once was a woman from Kentucky”
Mofo Politics ^

Posted on 08/02/2014 8:12:41 PM PDT by ObamahatesPACoal

Speaking at the 134th Annual Fancy Farm Picnic, Saturday…

There once was a woman from Kentucky

Who thought in politics, she’d be lucky

So she flew to LA for a Hollywood bash

She came home in a flash, with a bucket of cash

To liberals she whispers ‘coal makes you sick’

In Kentucky she claims, ‘coal makes us tick’

“pure enough”??

He is a self-avowed enemy of the conservative movement in this country, and you think people oppose him because he isn’t “pure enough”?

great idea. the reason that we got the second obama administration is because conservatives stayed home.

keep it up. you’ve got a great track record of assisting the obamites in destroying the country.

it’s insane to advocate the sacrifice of a perfectly winnable senate seat because he doesn’t meet your personal definition of “conservative”.

If Mcconnell was just a smidgeon Conservative you may have a point.

As long as Obama is in the WhiteHouse a Republican majority in the senate is pretty useless.

Having a Republican majority in the House is much more important at this time.

McConnell is just Harry Reid without the “D” after his name. He will get Barry’s agenda through those pesky conservative problems.

His name is Bevin, not “Bevins”...who ran an astoundingly pitiful campaign and made a joke of himself with his own behavior.

Ah, there you are yet again with your ultra-liberal rallying cry - even adopting the slogans of the Democrats.

What would be the difference? Harry Reid will push through Obama’s judges at an accelerated rate at blistering speed to stack our courts with ultra liberals for a generation, for starters. Obamacare would have never been passed for another. Your attitude is exactly why policies like Obamacare are in place.

And of course, as has been explained to you before, McConnell is gone in 6 years. This is his last hurrah. This is also potentially the last hurrah - forever - for the old Lundergan establishment - or - a new lease on life being stronger that it has been in awhile - for decades to come - and getting on the national stage. That would be horrible for the country and devastating for the Commonwealth.

McConnell is just Harry Reid without the “D” after his name.

You are absolutely right about that. The left is all about power, and they don't care as much about policy as they do about whether you are on their side and it advances their cause. Their cause being destruction of the existing order and replacement of our society with something new, what that is is undetermined, but they know they will be in charge, and they believe it will be better.

McConnell is on their side in that battle. They don't hate McConnell. They might laugh at him, disagree with him, pretend to be his opponent. But they are both factions of the same party, the party of the left, of destruction, of advancing the progressive cause. McConnell, meanwhile, doesn't hate them either. These enemies of America are the people he tries to reach across the aisle to, who he legitimizes, and who he wishes he could be as popular as. Who does McConnell hate? He hates us. He hates us with a burning passion, hotter than any feelings he might have in a hundred lifetimes for Barack H. Obama. He envies Obama, wants to join him. He HATES us. McConnell and Rove and their minions could not stomach another conservative in the Senate, so they propped up an addled Thad Cochran and sent their allies, the racist left, to vote for him so they could defeat the Republican voters.

Yeah, I'm going to vote for the liar who pretends he's with us so that we can never ever fix anything even when we win. Screw him, and the Bentley he rode in on!

No, that is just being realistic. The game is up, and the masks have been removed. McConnell's only real base is the chamber of cronies. How many votes do they have?

No principles, no core values, no loyalties to the supporters, just an empty suit.

What would be retarded is falling for the "He is one of us" line.
