I heard he had to leave to become a lobbyist - and some law said he had to leave on a certain date. Basically, another corrupt pol. What a shock.
I suspect Cantor has a cushy job lined up with some lobbyist group.
Well, as we used to say...good bye and don’t let the door hit you in the A.. on your way out.
Cantor’s absence was a vote for Hamas, the DNC,
and criminal illegals.
The People had him pegged.
Good riddance to him —
Cantor was among the 20 lawmakers who did not vote Friday night
*************
Where else could you get a job that allows one to not show up in order to evade performing a key responsibility? The U.S. congress is a great gig with incredible benefits. No wonder so many covet those jobs.
We get the government we deserve.
These words, from the Sir Walter Scott poem, could well describe the vile, duplicitous Eric Cantor’s exit from Congress:
Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonored, and unsung.
Good riddance to the wretch Cantor.
I presume that every one of the none votes were effectively votes against the bill, but these losers were unwilling to put themselves on record of supporting Obama’s imperial amnesty.
Good thing Cantor has already been defeated. That leaves 19 others to show the door.
20 corrupt cowards.
Quitter!!!
Wow. Did VA voters ever make the right move.
