Unfortunately the Tatars are muslim and if I’m correct the Tsarnaev brothers were Tatar. The insurgency in the caucus mountains is Islamist as well. While this is unfortunate the Tatars should not be seen as some victim group. I just see more efforts to drum up Cold War and anti-russian rhetoric. We simply have to many problems already to worry about. I don’t think we can withstand a Cold War again not with the left this strong, and the changed geopolitical dynamics.
