Senior moments are getting more and more frequent.
No vacation where you were located at.
Just a few miles down river past the Donna/Pharr bridge our group had to covey up one night in ‘05 when a fire fight broke out between BP/DEA and smugglers coming across the river from Mexico. Luckily we had our code “black” worked out ahead of time because we were spread out directly in the middle and side of it.
We came out of our hide the next morning to witness the Mexican side missing a few trees and some under brush on the other side shot to hell. Our side definitely had some M2s going that night as well as small arms.
This is the same place where 2 or 3 weeks prior 2 Forest Rangers were shot by drug smugglers. One killed one wounded.
Yeah, not a nice place to vaca unless you have some serious weapons, tactics and know how to use them
Vacation is in October, darlin', and I cannot wait! Unbelievable past few days. I need a break.
