I do not “believe” the Left and I am as much a leftist as Ronald Reagan.

US Right used to be anti Semetic in the 1960’s and before. That is why almost the entire American Jewry bewilderingly votes Democratic. To not acknowledge that is to not acknowledge history. Same goes for Canada and Europe. Now that has almost fully transferred to the Left.

I guess you want to live in a fantasy world were anyone remotely associated with your politics past or present is perfect. The good Christian Southern folks were never racist and never owned slaves or practiced a slave system based on race? At the the time Southern Christians were Leftist? LOL

What “US right” was antisemitic in the 60s?? There’s no such history; that all came from the left. It’s always been secular Jews who care little for Israel that vote for the Democrats, not religious ones.

Yes, southern “Christians” were most definitely leftist, with a collectivist bent. The north represented the free market. It’s you who is in the leftist fantasy world.

Antisemites from the 60s and before? Henry Ford ran as a Democrat in 1918 for the US Senate from Michigan (left-winger who supported the League of Nations and ran on a peace platform). Democrat FDR’s policy towards Jewish refugees was to turn them away, until public pressure forced him to relent (and we know his hard-left tendencies). Just two major examples.
