I once sent a letter to the editor of a local paper regarding my support of the Iraq war. While the paper only printed my name, some loon took the time to find my address and send me a nasty letter in response to what I had written.

Of course it wasn't signed and there was no return address on the envelope........

Gave up signing letters to the editor long ago for the reason you brought up. Is Dangerous to have an opinion the left dislikes. Am actually surprised the left is shooting more than they are. I’d carry all the time if hadn’t lost all ammo and weapons in that boating accident.
