A new AP-GfK polls is all around bad news for President Obama, Democrats, and a mainstream media determined to push his amnesty agenda. Not only is public approval souring towards Obama's handling of the issue and the idea of a path to citizenship for illegals and the policy of offering asylum for this wave of Central American children, a plurality now see the Republican Party as better able to handle the issue of immigration.
When asked about the President's handling of the immigration issue, only 31% said they approve while a whopping 68% disapprove. That's a 14 point shift against the president since the middle of May, when he sat at 38% approve, 60% disapprove.

If GOP candidates s simply stick to linking all democrats, to the folly and failure of Obama’s policies, they can win.
If they veer off that, in wild directions, they will lose the benefit of the “gift on a plate” issues.
You’ll see a lot of democrats claiming to not support Obama, but that will be false. The GOP candidates need to be up to instantly refuting such claims.

People on BOTH sides are PISSED about this, and the Democrats are doomed in November unless the Republicans do something stupid like pass immigration reform and let Obama off the hook before November.
Those facial tear-drops are going to make them more difficult to blend in, and will allow good people to know how dangerous they are, by the voluntary branding of their faces and bodies. I am certain they mark themselves in this way, to scare defenseless people. That will not work here, with a chewed pop-tart behind every blade of grass.

I’m listening to Hodges now about the U.N. and our naval ships positioned on the coasts...are they stationed there to protect us from a strike, wherein the U.N. can “come to the rescue”, OR, are they there to protect themselves (the navy) from a possible EMP strike and damage to their ship’s instruments?
Everyone should be PO’d at their Governors, as well—they are complicit in accepting the illegal-petri-dishes-of-contagions entering OUR schools in a few weeks—they should have made plans to have them quarantined from OUR children until it is found they are without disease and lice.

I disagree, and strongly. This isn’t a one-off scandal that the press gets to shove under the rug as though its already been thoroughly reported.
This is a drip-drip-drip scandal, with new happenings every single day that will make it into the news stream one way or another. And it’s also got the local angle, as each state eventually gets sent its own batch of illegals.
The polls reflect reality. The Dems, led by Obama, have really stepped in it this time. I wouldn’t even be surprised to learn that they were losing Hispanic votes over this lawlessness. After all, many Hispanics jumped through the proper legal hoops to get here legally. Now their own family members wait for approval while the Dems ship gang members over the border, more likely to join their communities in the U.S. and terrorize the legal Hispanics in the bargain.
This is why, by the way, Boehner was wise to avoid suing over the immigration mess. Let this one play out in public with local GOP politicians railing against the invasion of their individual states and communities. The Dems in the Red States are terrified at how this is playing out.
This is one of those festering issues that doesn’t get resolved or covered up easily by election time. That’s going to be a problem even in the face of sympathetic media, and 0bama is burning an awful lot of political capital just to keep the lid on as much as he has. Could this affect the 2014 elections? Of course it will. 2016? Yes, and that isn’t something that establishment Dems are going to be very happy with. But 0bama isn’t running. And he is in power. And so he may just decide to burn a few bridges.

This means they also OWN HIGH GAS AND FOOD AND ELECTRICITY PRICES.
