The bombing of Germany 1944-45 or in Japan was done WITHOUT concerns for civilian casualties by us the Americans and it worked that time. Long before the stupid UN was created!!!
And by ending the war quickly, without an invasion of the Japanese mainland, may have saved a million or more lives.
