I doubt your wife made it a point to attack you relentlessly day in and day out like some women. You cannot judge all women by how your wife acts.
I have never hit a woman in my life but I have witnessed many who deserved it...
As noted in post #17, if they deserve to be hit, don't - leave 'em instead.
