If this doesn't scare the socks off you I don't know what will. I've got a daughter up there in MN.

Fellow passengers on his plane were given warnings about the diseases symptoms, which can include bleeding from the nose and mouth, but were allowed to continue on their journeys.
As Ebola has an incubation period of up to 21 days, there are fears that some may even now be spreading the disease still further.

Why permitted to travel with other passengers on an international flight?
Were the other passengers allowed to beg off and get some other flight?
How unfair and stupid.

I am losing track of those infected but one person was said to have come into contact with 59 at last cont.
If each of them came into contact with just two people we are screwed.

Why are so-called American citizens working for foreign governments, let lone trying to import Ebola to the US?

21 days of wandering around town touching stuff, coughing, serving meals, etc. before even showing symptoms. That’s a lot of door knobs for each person. And then multiply it by 6 (people sitting next to the guy), or 150 (the entire plane load).

According to the Daily Mail (UK) one of the passengers was the Vice PM to some country in West Africa.
That might explain why they did not isolate the passenger

It should be noted....this wasn’t identified until mid-70’s, and scientists tend to believe it crossed over from monkeys.
It should also be noted that ALL of the symptoms of Ebola...relate to the flu. The minute you show any of these common five items...it could be flu or it could be Ebola.
If you look over the destruction to the body....it goes straight into the liver. The ten percent of society that survive it? Nothing much is said over how they do it, and you have to wonder if they suffer serious liver damage as part of the end-result.

I doubt the late Mr. Sawyer was deliberately attempting to import Ebola to the US.
As to why work for a foreign government? It pays pretty damned good, thank you very much. I’ve done work for a few; the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense , the Italian Ministry of Culture and others. It’s not a bad freelancing scheme, all things considered, and you get to travel - and you get paid for it too.
I’m not complaining.
