EU diplomats will meet in Brussels today to agree a fresh round of sanctions designed to cripple the Russian economy and target allies of Vladimir Putin. Cold weather will start arriving in Europe very soon. Just saying.

Since the “American experiment” seems to be proving that democratic government does not work (e.g. “the masses raiding the treasury) then we are left with the option of some form of authoritarian government. As authoritarians go I like Vladimir better than most.
